About – Kartong Diaspora Association

Kartong Diaspora Association was formed in 2020 by indigenes of Kartong resident away from home basically in the USA, UK, Europe, Asia and other places. We realized the strenght of unity and decided to come together to be able to address the development needs of Community in the areas of health, sports, education etc. etc. It is in this vein that Kemo Jarju realizing the power of unity came up with the idea and sold it to a few close associates who blessed the idea and thus encourage him to sell the idea to everyone from Kartong. The idea caught fire and thus KDA was born.

Since our formation, we have taken on many projects to aleviate the living standards of the community. We have supported football in the village by donating cash for the yearly tournament held in the village as well as sponsoring the Kombo South District tournament. We have also……..
